Thermal printer ribbon supplies keep your business running and inventory trackable. Wasp offers three types of thermal transfer printer ribbons, in a wide range of ribbon styles, that deliver excellent print quality for barcodes:

Wax ribbons are great for general-purpose applications such as asset tracking and inventory control. Wax ribbons work best on paper labels and low-end synthetics.
Wax/resin ribbons are more versatile than wax thermal ribbons and tend to work best on paper labels and matte synthetics that require a little more durability.
Resin ribbons protect against harsh environmental conditions found in heavy industrial and logistics settings, when you need the label to last an extended period of time. Ribbons with resin work best on high-end gloss and matte synthetics.

Thermal printers come in a few styles, including the thermal transfer printer. Those printers use a special print head and resin or wax ribbons instead of ink ribbons. These monochrome ribbons let the printer leave a sharp image without expensive ribbons of ink or ink cartridges.
